Thriving on Thursdays - Linky Party # 5

It's time for my weekly catch up of wonderful hints and ideas from around the globe. Here you'll find recipes, crafts, sewing ideas, make up hints, diet advice, organising and decluttering tips, vintage finds, furniture makeovers, you name it. Hopefully you'll find something you like. Here's my favourites from last week.

I absolutely adored Anita from Aunt Nubby's Kitchen's Hummingbird Cake which she uses 4 bananas and a can of crushed pineapple. Anita also submitted a great idea for a weight loss motivator which was also worthy of a mention. Thanks Anita! Your weekly contributions are always fantastic.

Trudie from My Vintage Vow shared a tutorial on how to make these adorable hair ties from vintage buttons. I have a gazillion vintage buttons in my stash and now I know what to do with them. Just beautiful. Thanks Trudie!

Jo from A Country Life Experiment linked up a great recipe for Thai Fish Cakes, one of my favourites.  Just delicious Jo! Thanks!

Tessa, the Domestic Diva shows us how to maximise drawer space. Something that I really need at the moment. Thanks Tessa.

And just in the nick of time for back to school is a wonderful tutorial for DIY clothing labels from Sew Delicious. Thanks so much Roslyn for linking up.

If you were featured this week, don't forget to grab my 'featured' button from the "My Buttons" tab up top. So many wonderful link ups again this week. I loved them all! Now, onto this week.
