The call out appeared on Facebook for Mums who limit their children's computer game and TV time. I knew I would be a good candidate because I think our kids are the only ones in the entire world who don't own a Wii, Nintendo DS, XBox, Playstation or any other computer game. They do have computer homework to do and I try to limit that to 10 minutes per day. Besides Saturday night movie night and a few cartoons in the morning before school, only if they're ready to walk out the door, they don't watch a lot of television.
I was asked to do a telephone interview with a reporter from The Courier Mail, our State's main newspaper and here we are, in today's news on page 3.

ReplyDeleteFantastic! We try to limit our screen time as well. There is nothing worse than seeing kids with their heads stuck in some electronic device (my nieces & nephews did that at Christmas, and it made me so mad!)
