Bringing back dessert - Self Saucing Pudding

Nothing says a winter warming dessert more than a self saucing pudding. This humble, simple dessert of a basic cake batter with a hot water mixture poured over it and baked, in a conventional oven or a microwave and then a delicious, oozing sauce bubbling up from beneath.

They really don't take all that long to prepare or cook. If you've got dinner on in the oven, pop the pudding in just as you take dinner out. If you've used the stove top or slow cooker for your meal, trying cooking the pudding in the microwave. You can even do you pudding in the slow cooker!
