Top 15 DIY toothbrush holders

Source: kontextur.com via Full on Pinterest

During the week, I cleaned the bathroom and my toothbrush holder was looking a little grotty. After all, it was a metal pen holder from a stationery desk set. Anything will do, right? I splashed out and bought myself a new bathroom set for a bargain price of $6. I should've looked at some of these other nifty alternatives for toothbrush holders I saw on Pinterest.

  1. I'm loving the individual towel and brush holder idea. My kids fight over the toothpaste and each want their own. They each say that the other one messes the tube up!
So far they've broken two towel rails so I'm wanting hooks for the towels now. So THAT ^ idea is perfect! Off to research it now!! :)

  2. What a fun roundup. I dare not even look at our toothbrush holder, probably way gross :) Maybe I'll get one of those brass fittings next time I'm at the hardware store!

  5. Many brass fittings contain lead, FYI. I'm going to try the test tube idea, but will also drill holes in the bottom for drainage.

  6. I love all these alternatives! But the brass fittings really do rise above the rest. :D Were these used fittings? This would be a great way to repurpose fittings which cannot hold pipes as strongly as before. -->Gayle

    1. I'm not sure Gayle but I think if you sterilised them and gave them a good scrub they'd be ok.
